MFG Construction launches dedicated Facilities Management division

MFG Construction has officially launched MFG Facilities Management, a dedicated division focused on delivering comprehensive facilities management services across the UK and selected European markets.
The move formalises two decades of experience in the FM sector and responds to unprecedented demand for the services. With workload increasing substantially, the company has restructured and recruited a brand-new team to ensure facilities management receives the strategic focus and operational infrastructure it demands.
MFG FM operates on a single principle: direct access, personal accountability, and one standard applied to every client, every contract, every time.
The division's model, which is built around the MFG FM Standard of Works, eliminates the distance between client and delivery team, removing account manager intermediaries and putting decision-making in the hands of operationally experienced staff.
Services span the full spectrum: building fabric and minor works, M&E maintenance, cleaning, landscaping, fire systems and compliance, reactive helpdesk, roofing, painting and decorating, HVAC, gas and plumbing, and fully integrated reactive and PPM programmes.
"We've been delivering FM services for longer than most people realise," says Mike Barker, Operations Director at MFG Construction.
"The volume of work and the calibre of clients we're now attracting made it clear we needed to give this division the structure and visibility it deserves. MFG FM isn't a new business for us, it's the formalisation of something we've been doing consistently well for twenty years. Now we're doubling down on it. Our clients know what we are capable of delivering, and now we’re taking it to the next level."

The division operates from four regional hubs: Widnes (headquarters), Carlisle, Birmingham, and Edinburgh, enabling rapid deployment and consistent service delivery across the UK.
