Major Milestone Reach as MFG turns 20

Today is a landmark day in our history. MFG officially turns 20. 

It’s exactly two decades since we formed the company in 2006. We started in a small office in Widnes with modest beginnings and a simple idea: a bricklayer and a joiner joining forces to deliver brilliant work for local businesses in the North West. 

Those early days were spent on tools, making sure every site we touched was done to a top quality standard. That reputation for quality became our engine – one that we drove right through the UK and beyond.  

One successful job led to another, and soon, doors began to open in sectors we never imagined - from becoming a trusted partner in the Rail sector and Local Government to delivering complex industrial and commercial projects. 

Look at us now:  A multi-million-pound turnover business. 

Four regional offices (Widnes, Carlisle, Birmingham, and Edinburgh). 

A reach that spans from the remote Isle of Tiree in Scotland all the way into Europe.  

We haven’t just grown our fleet and our premises; we’ve grown our family. We pride ourselves on giving operational talent a real chance to shine, investing in our people as much as our business. 

We’re now trusted by some of the biggest names in construction and rail. From Mitie, to Bruntwood, Vextrix and Swissport to Northern and Network Rail. We’ve literally delivered 100’s of projects to the delight of our clients. 

It’s been an incredible journey, but as we always say: we’re not stopping here.
