MFG's Adam Langan excited by Passive Fire Division's 'fast start'

It’s been just over six months since MFG launched its Passive Fire Protection division — and what began as an ambitious expansion is now a fully operational, fast-moving arm of the business, delivering high-quality fire safety solutions for clients across the UK.

When we set out to build this division, we knew it would take more than just launching a service -it meant investing in accreditations, assembling the right team, building industry relationships, and delivering from day one.

That journey began with our first project at Tipton School in Birmingham, and the pace hasn’t slowed since.

 Since then, we’ve:

• Achieved formal accreditations for our fire stopping work

• Launched a fully integrated cradle-to-grave reporting system that gives clients real-time access to site progress and compliance reports

• Delivered multiple projects across sectors — including education, entertainment, and public buildings

• Welcomed new team members like Elle, who has already secured new clients and confirmed jobs within just weeks of joining
