Same Space. Different Standard. Airport gets MFS standard

MFG Construction has completed a full flooring and decoration renewal programme at a UK Airport's offices, delivering the project safely and on programme within eight days.

The scope covered the main hallway and staff male and female welfare facilities, with works including full uplift and replacement of commercial vinyl flooring, complete wall preparation and decoration throughout, woodwork regloss and satin black bathroom upstand finishes.

Subfloor preparation and screeding was carried out ahead of flooring installation, with all vinyl laid, glued, welded and edge-sealed on completion. All doors were removed, trimmed to suit new floor levels and rehung with kick plates reinstated and checked.

Works were carried out within a live, secure airport environment, with the area vacated by staff for the duration of the programme. The project was completed safely and efficiently, with full client approval and sign-off on completion.
