Project Overview

Repeat work in Belfast for MFG Construction

MFG Construction was appointed to deliver the street lighting installation for the main car park and access areas at Drumkeen House as part of the wider site improvement scheme.

Following completion of the car park resurfacing, this phase focused on improving safety, visibility, and energy efficiency across the external areas. The lighting upgrade supports site security and usability for staff and visitors during early morning and evening hours.

Project Highlights

Lighting Column Installation: Columns installed into pre-formed sleeves with sand backfill and concrete collars to ensure stability and durability

Lighting Head Installation: Heads positioned under site supervision to provide optimal coverage across the car park and access routes

Communications Box Installation: Control box installed flush with finished floor level, with surrounding area reinstated and tarmac finished

Electrical Identification: Each lighting unit numbered to correspond with its circuit breaker for straightforward maintenance and fault identification
