A Live Site, A Careful Balance 

Working in justice sector environments is never standard. However, at MFG Construction we have nearly two decades of experience delivering works in such environments, such as this one. The Probation Centre remained fully operational throughout, requiring us to uphold exceptional site discipline, discreet working methods, and flawless communication with client-side staff and visitors.

What set this project apart was our rigorous approach to inductions and safety procedures and the hands on delivery of Project Manager, Nick Duff. This set the tone for the successful delivery of the works. Nick was in constant communication with the Centre Manager and from the first conversation to the last - they were kept well informed every step of the way. Everything was planned meticulously and delivered to MFG’s high construction standards.

And we got on with the job. All personnel underwent thorough H&S onboarding — not just standard site protocols, but specific training tailored to the live nature of the building. We recognise that site conditions can change by the hour, and our team's adaptability and awareness were critical to the project's success.
