Client & Team Testimonials

Adam Langan, MFG Passive Fire Protection Manager:

"Although Passive Fire is a new division within MFG, the business itself has over 20 years of operational experience. The team leading this division brings years of expertise in passive fire protection, ensuring a strong foundation of knowledge and capability.

“Tipton was the perfect project to launch the division. It was complex, time-sensitive and in a live school environment — exactly the kind of challenge we're built for. We worked out of hours, minimised disruption, and delivered safely, on time and compliant with current regulations.

“The school's team were impressed not just with the workmanship, but with how easy we made it to track everything. Through our reporting platform, they had immediate access to site data, photos, and compliance records -  all at the click of a button.

“For me, the biggest success has been turning a blank sheet into a working, trusted business unit in under six months. We've proven the model, and now we're scaling it — with more projects, more clients, and more capability.”

Stephen Price, Projects Director, MFG Construction:

"The Tipton Academy project reflects the breadth of services MFG can deliver, from specialist passive fire protection to high-quality refurbishment and external works. Our team's ability to work safely in a live school environment ensured minimal disruption to staff and students while delivering a modern, functional, and safe facility."

Tipton High School Spokesperson:

"Adam, Mark and everyone in the wider MFG team have been great to work with and they've delivered an impressive job. They've worked around us and flexed their hours to suit the school which is important for everyone here. They were in before anyone was on site and then back again after students had gone home. The job was delivered to a high specification, done safely and we were kept well informed with MFG's 'One Trace' which allowed us to see progress as we went along.”

Project Impact

This project marked the establishment of MFG's Passive Fire Protection division and proved our capability to handle complex, multi-disciplinary works in sensitive environments. The success has laid a strong foundation for continuous improvement and scaling of our passive fire protection services.
